Youth Workforce Development Initiative
If you’re a teenager looking to get new skills, make some money after school, or build your resume, this is the plan for you. Through this program, you’ll learn basic carpentry skills, landscaping, and learn basic foundational skills for a future job. You’ll be partnered with a licensed, vetted contractor who will teach you everything you need to know about the work. No tools? No experience? No diploma? No problem, this job is designed for you. The Process
Step 3
Go to work and get paid! Laborers are paid $15 an hour with opportunities for college savings available as well as pay raises based on experience and progress with the program.
Step 1
Interview for the position with Project2030 and complete the onboarding process. You’ll undergo our OSHA required training, learn how to handle tools, and review our standard policies.
Step 2
Get hired and get matched with a licensed contractor. All of our matched contractors are vetted with background checks and required to show proof of insurance and licensure.
